Class Schedlues CGC Class: This class will prepare you to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen exam. This is a test that just says that your dog is cordial to other people and other dogs. The class may vary a bit with each class depending on the issues of the team enrolled. For more Info. The goal of classes is to make the dogs/pups confident, so that they are social with other canines and people of all ages. It is not designed for competition obedience teams. We will incorporate agility obstacles for confidence building, and we learn how to handle our dogs around other people and their pets with different personalities.. Classes are held weeknights at Ed Bock Feeds in Pinckney. (Class is 4 weeks in length the cost is $90.00) Class time is 6:30-7:30 pm. On Mondays August 23-Sept 20th and Wednesdays Oct 6th-27th Puppy Class for owners that wish to socialize their new puppy properly and expose him/her to people and new experiences in a friendly and fun format. Examples of what you’ll learn but are not limited to: How to settle your pup, the right and wrong ways to correct your puppy, what is aggressive behavior vs play and much more. (Class is 4 weeks in length the cost is $45.00) Class time is 6:30-7pm. On Wednesdays August 25-Sept 22th and Mondays Oct 4th-25th Practice is for owners that have already been to an adult class and want to brush up on their skills. (Class is held on a drop in basis the cost is $5.00) This is held on the Puppy class schedule at 7:30pm (class is usually 30-45 min) Agility is for owners that that want to have fun learning agility. This class is not meant for competition. The class is held in Pinckney.
